A Stafford teen picked the worst possible moment to come home after a night out—right in the middle of an active police barricade following a high-speed chase involving a suspected drunk driver, authorities said.
The bizarre series of events began around 10:55 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 21, when a deputy spotted an SUV speeding at more than 85 mph along Richmond Highway near Courage Lane, according to the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office.
