Juvenile Arrested For Breaking Into Occupied Home In Fairfield County, Police Say
A Fairfield County juvenile was charged after allegedly breaking into a home and struggling with the homeowners. The incident took place around 3 a.m., Sunday, Feb. 13, when Stamford Police received a call of people struggling with a person who had entered their home in the area of Liberty Street. According to Sgt. Sean Scanlan, of the Stamford Police, officers arrived and were given a description of a Black male in his late teens to early 20s. Palisades Park police responding to an attempted home burglary nabbed a suspect a short time later, authorities said. Borough resident Tomas Castrolarios, 23, was spotted near the corner of Hillside Avenue and West Edsall Boulevard following the aborted break-in on Highland Avenue shortly after 10:30 p.m. Saturday, Detective Lt. Deer Chased By Dog Dies After Crashing Through Window Of River Vale Home
It came in as a possible burglary in progress but turned out to be a horrific accident. Sometime before dawn Wednesday, a deer being chased by a dog crashed through the window of a River Vale home, police said. The gravely wounded deer eventually died, Capt. Chris Bulger said. Animal control removed the carcass from the Coopers Lane home, he said. “The dog appeared to be fine and the deer showed no signs of injury from the dog,” the captain said. The dog’s owner and the homeowner “have been in contact and will handle the matter between them for the damage,” he said.

A dog who was stolen during a Long Island home burglary has been located more than 40 miles away from the scene of the crime. A person or people entered a home in Huntington, located on Robin Lane between approximately 4 p.m. and 11 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 25, and stole the French Bulldog and a Sony PlayStation 5, Suffolk County Police said. VA Man Nabbed In Back-To-Back Hunterdon County Home Burglaries
An out-of-state man has been arrested in connection with a pair of home burglaries committed in Hunterdon County last week. Marc E. Beauchamp, of Virginia, is accused of burglarizing a home on Cokesbury Road in Clinton Township and driving away after being confronted around 11:35 p.m. on Nov. 4, Clinton Police said.
