A teenage boy riding an electric bicycle was hospitalized after a crash with a car in North Massapequa, police announced on Saturday, July 19. The 17-year-old was heading west on Boundary Avenue when he slammed into a 2010 Toyota stopped at a red light at the intersection with South Brittany Drive around 8:35 p.m. on Friday, July 18, according to Nassau County Police. A bicyclist was hospitalized after they were hit by a pickup truck in Denville Thursday morning, July 17, authorities said. The crash occurred on Old Boonton Road near Bush Road, the The Morris County Prosecutor’s Office said. The bicyclist was transported to an area hospital to be treated for injuries sustained in the crash, authorities said.
