Death Toll For Flu Season In CT Hits 57 As the flu remains widespread across the state, the Connecticut Department of Public Health announced two more deaths, bringing the total number this season to 57. According to the state's weekly flu report,  of the 57 deaths, 37 of the people were 65 or older, 15 were between the ages of 50 and 64, four were between 25 and 49, and one was between the ages of 5 and 17.
