Victim Identified In Fatal Carlstadt House Fire
Authorities have identified the victim who was found dead following a house fire in Bergen County last week.
Joseph A. Poling, 67, died in the two-alarm fire on 3rd Street that broke out around 4 p.m. Friday, Jan. 16, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said.
Carlstadt police and the Carlstadt Fire Department, along with mutual aid from several neighboring fire departments, responded to the scene, Musella said. During fire suppression efforts, responders located an adult male victim on the second floor of the home, Musella said.
