A man was arrested after firing a gun at another driver during a road rage incident in Ocean County, police said.
Paul R. Cacciola, 39, of Bayville, allegedly got out of his car, pulled out a gun and shot at the victim's vehicle, causing damage before fleeing the scene around 8:10 a.m. Thursday, July 17, according to Lacey Township Police Capt. Paul Sullivan.
Officers began searching for the suspect while other officers met with the victim.

A 52-year-old Phillipsburg man was arrested and charged with assaulting a woman with a knife, authorities announced Tuesday, July 8.
On Monday, July 7, at 5:11 a.m., Lopatcong Township police responded to the 1000 block of Birch Lane and an investigation revealed Wayne Turpin assaulted with a woman with a knife, causing serious injuries, the Warren County Prosecutor's Office said.

Brick Man Fled Scene After Crashing 69 Chevy Camaro: Prosecutor
A 54-year-old Brick Township man was arrested after he crashed a 1969 Chevy Camaro and fled the scene on Wednesday, July 2, authorities said.
At 8 p.m., Brick Township police responded to Schoener Drive and Brick Boulevard and found the Camaro had crashed into a utility pole and Nicholas Lotito, the driver, left the scene on foot, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer said.
Lotito lost control of the Camaro before crashing, Billhimer said. Two passengers in the car also left the scene, with one later checking into a nearby hospital, where he was treated and released, Billhimer said.

A 33-year-old Blackwood man was arrested and charged after he brandished a firearm on Route 42 in Gloucester County on Monday, June 23, authorities said.
