Borges took the lump sum payment of $650,000 (before taxes) rather than the annuity, which would have paid out the full amount over 20 years.  He said he plans to use the money to take his family on a vacation.  Borges bought the ticket at Cumberland Farms, 864 Stafford Road in Fall River.
