Madison PD: Elizabeth Man Flashed Genitals To Woman He Was Driving To Work
A 29-year-old Elizabeth man was arrested after exposing his genitals to a woman who he was driving to work, said authorities who charged him. Jose A. Garcia had apparently exposed himself to the woman, who he knew, on "more than one occasion," Madison Police Chief Darren P. Dachison said in a release. Garcia was arrested on Main Street on June 26 on charges of lewdness, police said. He was also served a disorderly persons offense and was released pending a court appearance in Madison Municipal Court.

A Chatham resident surrendered in the hit-and-run death of a 68-year-old pedestrian in Madison early Friday evening after authorities published surveillance photos of her SUV. Cheon A. Lee, 58, was charged with knowingly leaving the scene of accident resulting in death after she contacted authorities and took responsibility for the crash, authorities said. Arson Investigators Probe Suspicious Morris Township House Blaze
Arson investigators were probing a blaze that ravaged a Morris Township home Wednesday afternoon, according to published reports. The Morris County Fire Wire Facebook page reported that the 911 caller's son set the Mendham Avenue fire around 3 p.m. Morris Township firefighters were joined by their colleagues from Morristown, Morris Plains, Madison, Mendham and Cedar Knolls. The blaze left the house uninhabitable, according to Morristown Green. The Morris County Prosecutor's Office and local authorities were investigating the cause, Morristown Green reported.
