The getaway driver in the cold-blooded killing of a Fairview man during a drug-related apartment robbery was sentenced to 30 years without parole in state prison. David Martinez, 21, of North Bergen watched as three men who were in the apartment when David Duque Soto was shot in June 2019 took guilty pleas rather than risk the consequences of a trial. A Connecticut man is being held on a $2 million bond after calling police to say he just shot and killed a woman. The incident took place in New Haven around 1:15 a.m., Sunday, April 23 on Saltonstall Avenue. According to Capt. Police are investigating a double homicide after two men were found shot to death in a vehicle on a Connecticut roadway. The incident took place in New Haven around 7:55 a.m., Saturday, April 1 in the area of Winthrop Avenue and Goffe Terrace.
