H-Block Gang Member Found Guilty Of Double-Murder After Trenton Social Media Diss: Prosecutor
A Trenton man was found guilty by a jury in a double fatal shooting that stemmed from a gang being dissed on Facebook, authorities said.
Tyzir Hamilton, 22, was convicted on all counts of the indictment on Thursday, Sept. 21, including two counts of murder, conspiracy to commit murder and weapons offenses, according to Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri.
On Aug. 9, 2020, at approximately 7:30 a.m., patrol officers with the Trenton Police Department responded to Centre Street for a shooting.

Football Star, 24, Dies Of Injuries From Trenton Shooting: Prosecutor
A 24-year-old man from Mercer County died of injuries suffered in a shooting in Trenton earlier this month, authorities said.
Justin Prescott Reed, of Ewing, died on May 22, as a result of injuries he sustained in the May 14 shooting on Brunswick Avenue, the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office said on Wednesday, May 31.
No arrests had been made in the shooting as of press time, authorities said.
Reed was a star football player at Ewing High School. He later played football at Delaware Valley University, Monroe College and Mercer Community College, his obituary said.

Park Ranger Billed Mercer County 298 Hours Of Work While At Home: Prosecutor
A park ranger from Mercer County spent about 298 hours at home when he said he was at work, a complaint shows.
James J. Romano III falsified 64 patrol logs between July 27, 2002, and Jan. 17, 2023, which totaled 298.5 hours and $5,728 in stolen wages, according to the criminal complaint filed by the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office.
Romano III, 34, of Hamilton, was charged in March with official misconduct, tampering with public records and theft by deception, according to the complaint.
