Police Identify Driver Killed In Central Jersey Crash
Police have released the name of the driver killed in a crash on Route 33 in Middlesex County. Murray Lipman, 81, was pronounced dead at the scene of the Wednesday afternoon crash in Monroe Township, police said. Lipman, of Monroe, was driving south on Bentley Road when the side of his car was struck by the front end of an SUV traveling westbound on Route 33, police said. The driver of the SUV, a 39-year-old woman from Manalapan, was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, police said. Her name was not released by police. Route 33 west in Monroe was closed …

Serious Central Jersey Crash, Possibly Fatal, Reported On Route 33
Police, firefighters and EMS crews were called to a serious crash in Middlesex County, authorities said. The crash occurred about 2 p.m. Wednesday on Route 33 at Bentley Road in Monroe Township, according o initial reports. An unconfirmed report said that the crash may have resulted in a fatality. Route 33 westbound was closed down for a police investigation, reports said. A state Department of Transportation team was reported at the scene. This is a developing news story. If you live, work or go to school in Middlesex County, roll up your sleeve in you need a third dose of the coronavirus vaccine. Middlesex County will offer third doses of Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine starting Tuesday at the Monroe Senior Center as well as the county's existing vaccination sites. The certification of a home health aide from Pennsylvania accused of tying a 71-year-old dementia patient to a chair at a South Jersey assisted living facility was permanently revoked, authorities announced. A supervising registered nurse at the Juniper Village/Well Springs Assisted Living Facility in Monroe Township discovered the abused victim during a visit to her apartment at last fall, Acting New Jersey Attorney General Andrew J. Deadly, Fiery Crash Closes Black Horse Pike
The Black Horse Pike in Monroe Township (Gloucester County) was closed Sunday night for a serious crash investigation, police said. Initial reports say one person died when a car overturned and struck a tree then burst into flames sometime around 10:45 p.m. The crash occurred at 2906 Black Horse Pike, and the road was expected to be closed for an extended period of time, reports say.

A 32-year-old man from Middlesex County has been arrested in connection with the fatal assault of a woman he was dating, authorities said. Deymis Jimenez, 32, of Monroe Township has been charged with murder and unlawful possession of a weapon, according to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Chief Michael J. Biennas of the Monroe Township Police Department. Pair Facing Murder Charges In Elizabeth Homicide
Two men were arrested Thursday in connection with a fatal Elizabeth shooting last spring, authorities announced. Leonard Ellison, 36, and Shawn Gilford, 41, were both charged with first-degree murder and three related weapons offenses for the killing of 42-year-old Robert Owens, Union County Prosecutor Lyndsay V.
