Spotswood Firefighter, 22, Dies In East Brunswick Motorcycle Crash: Officials
A 22-year-old firefighter was killed in a motorcycle crash Saturday evening, May 17 in Central Jersey, his department confirmed.
East Brunswick police said only that Robert J. Oross, also known as RJ, was involved in a crash with another vehicle at Summerhill Road and Racetrack Road at around 5:16 p.m.
Oross, of Spotswood, was critically injured and pronounced dead, police said. The driver of the other vehicle was not hurt and remained at the scene, according to the release.

A 57-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a crash with a pickup truck Saturday, May 3 in Hunterdon County, according to the New Jersey State Police.
The crash happened at 6:08 p.m. on County Route 602 East at milepost 5.9 in East Amwell, Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron said in a statement.
A Harley-Davidson motorcycle was heading west on CR 602, while a Toyota Tacoma was going east, police said. In the area of milepost 5.9, the motorcycle and pickup truck collided, causing the rider to be ejected.
