Man In US Illegally Ran Sex Trafficking Ring In Nassau County, Police Say
A man in the United States illegally is accused of running a sex trafficking ring on Long Island.
Jorge Ramos, 55, was arrested on suspicion of sex trafficking and related charges Thursday, Feb. 20, according to Nassau County Police.
An investigation found that Ramos, of Astoria, Queens, forced victims to engage in prostitution in Nassau County from July 2024 to February of this year, police said.
Authorities did not say how many people he allegedly victimized.
