A months-long investigation into crack cocaine sales in Rockland County has led to the arrests of eight people, prosecutors announced.
The six-month probe targeted drug activity in the Village of Nyack, Village of Spring Valley, and Town of Haverstraw, Rockland County District Attorney Thomas E. Walsh II announced on Friday, Sept. 12.

Several years after ending operations, the Indian Point nuclear plant in the Hudson Valley could still be restarted, but it would take billions of dollars, according to a new report by Politico.
Kelly Trice, the President of Holtec International, which is in charge of dismantling the facility, told Politico that reviving the 2,000-megawatt plant is “possible,” though it would require political and financial backing from Gov.
