Argument Turns Deadly: Fredericksburg Man Shot, Killed In Woodbridge, Police Say
A Fredericksburg man is dead and another man is recovering after a shooting in Woodbridge, police said.
David Kapay Kallo, 35, was found shot and killed late in the afternoon on Saturday, Sept, 13, according to the Prince William County Police Department.
Officers were called to the 13700 block of Telegraph Road around 7 p.m. for reports of gunshots, police said. Upon arrival, they found Kallo suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was pronounced dead at the scene by fire and rescue personnel.

Two firefighters were injured battling a house fire in West Milford on Saturday, Aug. 16, officials said.
West Milford fire crews responded to a reported structure fire on Otterhole Road just before 10 a.m., where responders were met by heavy fire and smoke on the front of the home, the fire department said.

An 18-year-old Virginia man is facing serious charges after police say he repeatedly choked a 17-year-old girl and stole her medication from her bedroom without permission.
Shyreese Brown Jr., of Triangle, was arrested on Wednesday, May 21, following a domestic violence investigation at a home in the 3700 block of Mainsail Cove, according to the Prince William County Police Department.
Police say earlier that day, Brown entered the girl’s room without permission, struck her, grabbed her by the neck, and took both her medication and an electronic device.

A man is behind bars after a road rage incident ended in a violent assault with a glass object in the Capital Region, authorities said.
Rensselaer County resident Matthew Blanding, age 39, of Rensselaer, was arrested on Wednesday, April 30, following a warrant for assault and weapons charges connected to the assault, which happened in Saratoga County, New York State Police announced on Monday, May 5.
The events leading to the assault began on Hudson Street in South Glens Falls as a road rage confrontation between Blanding and a driver he did not know, police said.

SUV Crashes Into Rock Wall, Guide Rail On Saw Mill Parkway In Chappaqua
A woman was hospitalized after losing control of her vehicle and crashing on the Saw Mill River Parkway in Northern Westchester, authorities said.
The crash happened just before 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 10, near Route 120 in Chappaqua, according to Westchester County Police Public Information Officer Kieran O’Leary.
The woman, driving an Acura SUV southbound, lost control, causing the car to slide off the road, strike a rock wall on the right, and then veer back onto the parkway before hitting a guide rail on the left side.
