Two People, Cat Escape After House Fire Breaks Out In Stratford Two Stratford residents, along with their cat, were able to escape an early-morning house fire. The fire began shortly after midnight at 44 Clifflawn Road, Stratford, in the attic of the home, said Norwalk Fire Department Deputy Chief/Fire Marshal Brian Lampart. Firefighters arrived to find smoke coming from the roof and an active fire in the attic space, Lampart said.
