NYC Man Convicted In Killing Of Apparent Toms River Drug Dealer
UPDATED: A New York City man was found guilty after a jury trial on Monday in the 2018 killing of a drug dealer from Ocean County, authorities said. Anthony Barksdale, 26, also known as Shakar Barksdale and previously from Seaside Heights, was convicted in the fatal shooting of Steven E. Stallworth, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said in a statement. FBI: Drone Leads Divers To Devices Jersey Shore Child Porn Collector, 52, Tossed Into Water
A law enforcement drone helped the FBI find an iPad and iPhone containing child pornography that a collector under investigation tossed into a Jersey Shore creek, authorities said. Federal authorities on Thursday charged Charles F. Browne, 52, currently of South River, with uploading images of child sexual abuse to a Dropbox account and “concealing objects to impede the FBI’s investigation,” U.S. Attorney Craig Carpenito said. A 23-year-old Jackson Township man has been arrested in connection with a burglary and murder, authorities said. UPDATE: Authorities released the name of a 23-year-old Ocean County man they said was killed overnight. The homicide victim has been identified as Isaiah Renouf of Jackson Township, authorities said. Two bodies found in a Lakewood home by police conducting a welfare check were identified as an 86-year-old woman and her 56-year-old son, authorities said Friday.
