Union Beach Mom Who Loved 'Unconditionally' Identified As Pedestrian Killed In Hazlet Crash
A Union Beach woman who "lit up every room she entered" was struck by a vehicle and killed near a busy Hazlet intersection, according to a fundraising campaign. Tracey Ryan, 52, was identified as the pedestrian who died in the Route 36 crash, a Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office spokesperson said on Wednesday, Dec. 11. The collision happened near the intersection with Union Avenue at around 7:49 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 9. A 40-year-old man is in critical condition after being struck by a Toyota Scion while crossing a road in Freeport, police announced on Tuesday, Dec. 10. The crash happened near the intersection of Merrick Road and Guy Lombardo Boulevard on Monday, Dec. 9, at 7:09 p.m., according to detectives with the Nassau County Homicide Squad. A man was killed when he was hit by an SUV while walking along a road in Gloucester County, authorities said. The 79-year-old Turnersville man in the crash on Thursday, Dec. 5, the Washington Township Police Department said in a news release. Randolph Teen Fatally Struck By Vehicle: Prosecutor
An 18-year-old Randolph resident was fatally struck by a vehicle on the evening of Friday, Nov. 29, authorities said. Maria Lorena Orellana-Valverde was struck by a 2022 Honda HRV at the intersection of Route 10 and Cedar Grove Road, the Morris County Prosecutor's Office said. Orellana-Valverde was transported to Morristown Medical Center, where she succumbed to her injuries, authorities said. The incident remains under investigation, authorities said.
