The FBI raided the offices of the Proud Boys’ Philadelphia chapter and home of the vice president on Friday, as first reported by the Philadelphia Inquirer. Aaron Whallon Wolkind, 37, of Newark, DE, woke up to more than a dozen FBI agents in riot gear ordering him out of his house over a loudspeaker before dawn Friday morning, the outlet reports citing Wolkind's attorney Jonathon Moseley. $8.5M Settlement Reached In Pepper Spray Death Of Philadelphia Inmate
The family of an inmate who died after pepper spray was used on him at a state prison in 2019 will receive an $8.5 million settlement -- the largest settlement for a state prison death in Pennsylvania. The Pennsylvania Department of Corrections filed the agreement for Tyrone Briggs' family on Tuesday, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports. A 33-year-old security guard whose K9 officer bit a man outside of a New Jersey restaurant has been charged with aggravated assault, authorities said. Steven T. Rudy was working as a private guard during the incident involving a 26-year-old man outside of Adelphia Restaurant in Deptford on July 29, the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office said. An argument between a Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants fan turned deadly when one killed the other while waiting in line for cheesesteaks early Thursday morning in Philly. Paul C. Pennsylvania officials are urging caution after some residents fell victim to identity scams on a made-up Facebook page that closely resembled the one used by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry.
