A 39-year-old truck driver from Philadelphia was arrested and charged with hitting a car and fleeing the scene in Lopatcong, authorities announced Sunday, July 20.
On Thursday, June 12, at 4:43 p.m., a 2023 white Cascadia Freightliner struck with Illinois plates ran a red light and struck a 2016 white Jeep Compass traveling northbound through a green light, Lopatcong Township police said.
Following an investigation, the driver was identified as Almaz Uulu Beishenbek, police said. Beishenbek was operating the truck for Tornado Shipping Inc, police said.
