Duo Convicted In Lower Merion Wrong-House Killing That Left Mom Paralyzed
Two men have been convicted of first-degree murder in a botched Lower Merion home invasion that left a young man dead and his mother paralyzed.
A Montgomery County jury found Charles Fulforth, 41, of Jenkintown, and Kelvin Roberts, 42, of Norristown, guilty on Thursday, July 24, 2025, of murder, robbery, burglary, and related charges in the Dec. 8, 2024, killing of 25-year-old Andrew Gaudio and the attempted murder of his mother, Bernadette Gaudio.
The pair were not convicted of conspiracy to commit murder.

A national outcry over the alleged secret deportation and death of an elderly man from Allentown has been debunked, the Department of Homeland Security announced on Monday, July 21.
Luis Leon, an 82-year-old Chilean national, was never deported to Guatemala, never arrested, and has no record of any green card appointment in Philadelphia on the day in question, according to DHS officials.
