Man Busted After Robbing Pittsfield Movie Theater: Police A 32-year-old Berkshire County man has been charged with the armed robbery of a Pittsfield movie theatre Friday night, Feb. 23, authorities said.  Kyle Richard Wilbur was arraigned on Monday in the robbery of the Beacon Cinema at 57 North St. just after 10 p.m., Pittsfield police said.  Investigators said Wilbur approached an employee at the Beacon, said he had a weapon, and demanded cash. Western Mass Man Admits To Sexually Assaulting Child At His Home, Gets 2 Years: DA A 68-year-old Berkshire County man has pleaded to multiple counts of indecent assault on a child younger than 14 years old, authorities announced on Tuesday, Feb. 20.  Lochan Kissoon, of Pittsfield, was sentenced to two years in prison for sexually assaulting a minor in his apartment in June 2021, the Berkshire County District Attorney said.  Kissoon cannot have contact with anyone under the age of 16, and he must register as a sex offender once he's released, authorities said.

$100K Lottery Ticket Sold In Western Mass A $100,000 winning lottery ticket was sold over the weekend at a Berkshire County store.  The winning six-figure Mass Cash ticket was bought at George's Liquors in Pittsfield on Sunday, Feb. 4. The winner's name was not released.  A second $100,000 Mass Cash ticket was also sold in Yarmuth on Cape Cod the same day.  George's Liquors will receive a bonus for selling the winning ticket.
