Two shoplifting suspects who fled from Target in Bergen Town Center on Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2025, were caught by Paramus Police—one after crashing into a tree and the other while attempting to hide submerged in a brook, authorities said.
Just before noon, Paramus police responded to a reported theft at Target, according to Paramus Police Chief Robert M. Guidetti. The two Tennessee teens who fired at Pennsylvania State Troopers during a multi-state crime spree have been captured in Hartford, Connecticut, authorities announced.
Jeremiah Begley, 17, and Christian Guerrero Jr., 17, were taken into custody on Thursday, Feb. 27, with the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Service, Hartford Police, and the PSP Fugitive Apprehension Unit, state police said.
