Multiple $50K Powerball Tickets Sold In Bergen County: Here's Where
Bergen County is home to a string of big lottery wins this month, with lucky tickets totaling $270,000 sold at convenience stores, gas stations, and a Walmart.

Youssef “Joseph” Nissan of Ramsey died Saturday, June 21, at age 25, according to his obituary with CC Van Emburgh Funeral Home.
Born in Ridgewood, Youssef graduated from Ramsey High School in 2018 and earned his psychology degree from Rowan University in 2023, his obituary reads.

Officer Spots Handgun In Route 17 Stop Of Mississippi Women, Ramsey Police Say
A routine traffic stop on Route 17 led to the arrest of two Mississippi women after officers spotted a handgun in plain view inside their vehicle, police said.
The incident occurred on Tuesday, Jan. 28, when Ramsey police stopped a blue Honda Accord with a Mississippi registration on Route 17 South, according to Ramsey Police Lt. Jeff Guilfoyle.
During the investigation, officers saw a handgun in plain view within the vehicle. The occupants, identified as Raven Johnson, 35, and Katrina McPherson, 51, were arrested without incident, Guilfoyle said.

Two New York men wanted in separate violent crimes were tracked down last month in Bergen County, thanks to the county's newly-launched Crime Suppression Team, authorities said.
The first arrest was made on Saturday, Dec. 21, when members of the team identified 51-year-old Randolph R. Smith of Far Rockaway, NY, who was wanted in connection with an armed robbery that occurred in New York City, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said. Smith was spotted in the Ramsey area, and when confronted by the Crime Suppression Team, he provided a false name to investigators, Musella said.
