Flames Tear Through Ashburn Garage, Displaces Family, Pets: Fire Officials
A Loudoun County family and their two dogs are displaced after a fiery garage inferno tore through their Ashburn home Thursday morning, April 3, sending one person to the hospital, fire officials said.
It happened around 9 a.m. in the 21000 block of Awbrey Place, where multiple 911 callers reported flames and heavy smoke coming from a two-story, single-family home’s garage, according to Loudoun County Fire and Rescue.
Fire crews from Moorefield, Ashburn, Brambleton, Lansdowne, Kincora, and South Riding all responded, along with several command officers.
