Firefighters Respond To Early Morning Blaze In Sellersville
Firefighters rushed to Green Street in Sellersville early Thursday morning to the scene of a burning home, officials said. Sellersville Volunteer Fire Department received the call shortly after 1 a.m. on May 4, firefighters wrote in a release. Department brass arrived to find flames showing from the corner of a two-story single-family home, SVFD said. There are no injuries after an early-morning fire broke out at a home on Long Island. Firefighters in Sag Harbor were called at around 7:50 a.m. Monday, April 24, with reports of a residential structure fire on Carlisle Lane, according to the Southampton Police Department. A man who was hospitalized Friday night, April 14, after a fire broke out in the bedroom of his Methuen home has died, authorities said. Investigators believe smoking materials sparked the blaze on the third floor of the triple-decker at 97 Phillips St. Officials did not release the man's name.
