Fairfax County law enforcement announced another incident of attempted abduction this week, officials said.Earlier in the week on August 24, a child in Alexandria was able to break free from a knife-wielding abductor who threatened a group of young kids. On August 30, at around 9:45 p.m. police announced that a suspect attempted to grab teen in Reston from the sidewalk. The teen was able to break free and run away, authorities reported. A man is in custody in relation to a Reston sexual assault incident involving a knife, police said.At around 11:50 p.m. on August 21, officers responded to the 2200 block of Lovedale Lane, where they discovered a female victim woke up to a man in her apartment, according to the Fairfax County Police Department. Police have identified the 37-year-old ex-con who was killed in a police shootout earlier this week in Fairfax County. Christian Parker, of Reston, had been wanted for firing a gun in a home Sunday and other offenses when police confronted him in the parking lot of the Springfield Mall around 4:30 p.m. Thursday, June 30, county police said.
