A months-long retail theft spree across Nassau County has led to the arrest of a Brooklyn woman, police announced on Sunday, April 5.
Magdalena Samsin, 41, of Brooklyn, was charged after an investigation into dozens of thefts in Elmont and surrounding areas, according to Nassau County detectives.
Samsin is accused of entering more than 27 retail stores between August and April and taking merchandise valued at more than $50,000, police said. She allegedly selected items, passed all points of purchase, and exited without paying, according to detectives.
