21-Year-Old Suspect Nabbed For Prince William County Burglary: Police
A suspect is in police custody after he beat up a man at a Prince William County inn, officials said.
At around midnight on Sept. 29, two men approached the 24-year-old victim at the Potomac Inn, in the 13900 block of Richmond Highway, according to the Prince William County Police Department.
The two suspects knocked the victim to the ground, before stealing his money and phone, authorities said.
A little while later the victim approached police, with injuries to his face, officials said.

A Stafford man was arrested after drunk driving for the third time, police said.At around 11 p.m. on August 13, law enforcement observed a car swerving into other traffic lanes on Richmond Highway, almost causing an accident, according to Stafford County police.
A nearby officer initiated a traffic stop and before getting to the driver's window, he could smell the strong odor of alcohol coming from the car, officials reported.

Reckless Driver Nearly Causes Crash During Pursuit In Stafford: Police
A Stafford teen was arrested after her reckless driving nearly caused a collision, police said.
Mickayla Lafayette, 19, was headed northbound on Richmond Highway at around 3:17 p.m. July 13, speeding at 67 MPH in a 45 MPH zone, the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office said.
When Deputy R.M. Connelly saw Lafayette’s Nissan, distinguishable with its apparent damage to the front passenger side, he tried to pull her over, but she sped up to 75 MPH to avoid the officer, police reported.
