Body Found After Fire At Storage Units In Capital Region State Police are investigating the discovery of a body following a structure fire at a storage facility in the region. Emergency services in Schoharie County responded around 4:10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 8, to reports of a fire at Superior Storage Units on Main Street in the town of Richmondville.  After firefighters extinguished the blaze, they found the remains of the dead person inside one of the units. Fatal Crash: 22-Year-Old ID'd As Victim In Capital Region A 22-year-old was killed in a two-vehicle crash in the region. It happened around 2:15 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 29, in Schoharie County in the town of Seward. An electric bicycle being operated by Mackenzie T. Bamberger of Cobleskill entered the intersection from Hill Road.  It was then struck by a vehicle northbound on State Route 10, according to New York State Police. Schoharie County resident Carlie Mace was officially reported missing on Monday, Aug. 5, weeks after relatives last had contact with her. Sheriff’s officials said her last known location was in Schenectady. Mace is 5-foot-6 and 210 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
