Long Island Man, 32, Killed In Two-Car Crash
A 32-year-old Long Island man was killed in a two-car motor-vehicle crash on Long Island.
It happened at around 8:15 a.m. Friday in Central Islip, Suffolk County Police said.
Christopher Alexandre, of Central Islip, was driving a 2001 Saturn westbound on Motor Parkway when his car collided with a 2019 Nissan traveling eastbound at approximately 8:15 a.m., police said.
Alexandre was transported to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore where he was pronounced dead.

It happened at approximately 9:25 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 26 in Brentwood.
Suffolk County Police Third Precinct officers responded to 253 Barleau St. following a hang-up call to 911 from the location.
Upon arrival, officers found Rosemary Paul, 79, a resident of the home, deceased from a gunshot wound inside the house, police said.
Her husband, James Paul, 84, also a resident of the home, had also been shot and was transported to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore where he was pronounced dead.

Suffolk County Police Third Squad detectives are investigating after a 52-year-old pedestrian was seriously injured in a motor vehicle crash on Long Island.
Suffolk County Police say Concepcion Zavala, 51, of Brentwood was crossing Washington Avenue eastbound in Brentwood when he was struck by a 2006 Nissan Altima traveling southbound on Heyward Street around 10:30 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 8.
Zavala was transported to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore with serious injuries, according to police.

A 17-year-old girl accused of driving drunk fled the scene after her car struck a pedestrian before the teen was involved in a second crash, Suffolk County Police said.
