Authorities have released new information in a deadly crash that closed I-695 in Baltimore County overnight Monday morning, April 8. County police were trying to stop a stolen vehicle near the 1800 block of Belmont Avenue, but the driver refused and headed onto the outer loop of I-695 traveling in the wrong direction, according to county police. “Officers did not follow the stolen vehicle onto the highway,” said the BCPO. A loaded handgun was found inside a stolen vehicle following a crash in Anne Arundel County overnight Friday, leading to pending charges for the injured driver, police said.
