A Rockland County community is mourning the loss of a longtime highway superintendent and business owner who served the public for nearly two decades.
Larry Robert Brissing Sr., a lifelong North Rockland resident, died peacefully at home on Saturday, Sept. 13 at the age of 76, surrounded by his children, his obituary said.

Michael Levoci, 64, was reported missing after he was last seen in the area of Gilmore Drive in Stony Point around midnight on Wednesday, May 7, the Stony Point Police Department said in an announcement on Tuesday, June 3.

A Hudson Valley mother has been charged with allegedly beating her two children with a foam baseball bat, causing injuries.
The incident occurred in Rockland County around 2:20 a.m., Monday, Oct. 7, in Stony Point.
