A Massachusetts woman recently gave birth to two sets of identical twins, a 1-in-10-million phenomenon. Ashley Ness, age 35, of Taunton, is recovering after doctors at Massachusetts General Hospital delivered the four babies via C-section just before 4 a.m. on Thursday, July 28, she told PEOPLE. While she wasn't due until October, doctors decided to move forward with the delivery 12 weeks early for Ness' and the babies' safety. 10 Nabbed In Massachusetts Fentanyl Trafficking Bust, Feds Say
Ten individuals are each facing up to 20 years in prison for allegedly distributing drugs throughout Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island, the US Attorney's Office for Massachusetts said. Authorities learned the group was regularly distributing multi-kilograms of fentanyl out of a stash house in Fall River after launching an investigation in March 2021, the office reports. Massachusetts law enforcement officials are mourning the passing of a police officer known for his compassion who died from COVID-19 on Christmas Eve. Patrolman John Borges, 48, was a search and rescue specialist and officer in Taunton. He was also a lead trainer for Massachusetts Emergency Management and active with the Civil Air Patrol.
