Another person has been arrested in connection with a rash of overnight thefts from vehicles following a lengthy investigation involving multiple police agencies.
Luis Correa, 47, of Bridgeport turned himself into police to Trumbull Police on Thursday, Dec. 5, on a warrant in connection with the burglaries that took place in August, said Trumbull Police Lt. Brian Weir.
Correa, along with another man, Christopher Right, 46, of Shelton, were identified through collaborative efforts with the Shelton Police who were also investigating similar thefts nearby in their town, Weir said.

Pair Of Alleged Car Burglars Nabbed Following Two-Month Investigation
A pair of alleged car burglars were nabbed by police following a two-month investigation.
Christopher Right, 46, of Shelton, and Luis Correa, 47, of Bridgeport, were arrested on Thursday, Oct. 3, for a series of alleged overnight car burglaries during August and September, in the Huntington area of Shelton, said Shelton Police Det. Chris Nugent.
The two were arrested after officers were able to identify and locate items reported stolen and linked the two to the thefts, Nugent said.

A 54-year-old Trumbull man who died after driving his pickup truck into a home has been identified.
Eric Gabrielson, of Oldfield Road, was killed around 7 p.m., Friday, May 3, in the area of Daniels Farm Road during a two-vehicle crash that ended with the pickup truck hitting the side of a home, said Trumbull Police Lt. Brian Weir.

Stolen Vehicles Recovered In Trumbull
Trumbull Police recovered two stolen vehicles, arrested one juvenile, and detained two others after they stopped a vehicle exiting the Trumbull Mall last week.
On Friday, Feb. 1, around 5:30 p.m., a Trumbull officer patrolling the mall’s parking lot saw three teens, all male, walking together acting suspiciously.
