Man Tries Defecating On Maywood School Property After Slashing Van's Tires: Police A 73-year-old Passaic man has been arrested after police say he slashed multiple vehicle tires at a school in Maywood. Thomas W. Donlen is responsible for slashing all four times on a school vehicle at the South Bergen Jointure School on Maywood Avenue in September 2023, Maywood Police Detective Sgt. William Phayre said. Then, on Aug. 19, he slashed the tires of the same vehicle on Aug. 19, police said. The total amount of damage to the van was determined to be $1,500. Water Balloons Thrown From Bridge Damage Cars On Rt 222: Ephrata Police Cars were damaged after items thought to be water balloons were thrown from an overpass, Ephrata police announced on Friday, Aug. 2.  Two vehicles were heading north on Route 222 when they were struck by the falling items at the East Mohler Church Road overpass, around midnight on Aug, 1. Vernon Mayor Anthony Rossi posted a video on Facebook of the vandalism at Great Gorge Golf Course, which is located next to the site of a former resort, that previously had a Playboy Club in the 70s and 80s.
