14-Year-Old Student Killed In Harrisburg Pedestrian Crash Identified
A student who died after being struck by a vehicle last week has been identified, Dauphin County officials announced.
Ryfeek Watson, 14, of Harrisburg, died after he was hit by a vehicle in the 2000 block of Derry Street around 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 29, according to the Dauphin County Coroner's Office.
Despite officers' efforts to provide immediate medical care at the scene, Watson was taken to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries, Harrisburg police said.

A 25-year-old South Jersey man was killed when the van he was riding in struck a parked Mack truck on I-295 on Friday, April 24, authorities said.
Daniel H. Carmelo, 25, of Mount Royal, was a front-seat passenger in a Dodge Sprinter the van that struck the disabled truck just after 3:30 p.m., in the southbound lanes near milepost 64.7 in Hamilton Township, police said.
Carmelo was killed in the crash, police said. The driver of the van suffered minor injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital, authorities said. No other injuries were reported, police said.

At 7:38 p.m., officers responded to Route 322 near Custard Castle after a 2021 Hyundai Tucson, operated by a 56-year-old Pittsgrove woman, struck Deserie Cincotti while she was attempting to cross the roadway, Township of Hamilton police said.
