Cement Truck Overturns On Route 287:

A cement truck overturned following a crash on Route 287 in Morris County on the early morning of Wednesday, Aug. 14, authorities said. At 2:07 a.m., a cement truck collided with a passenger vehicle on Route 287 north in Parsippany-Troy Hills Township, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. Following the crash, the cement truck overturned, Lebron said. No injuries were reported and the crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.

19-Year-Old From Copiague Seriously Injured, Woman Also Hospitalized In Lindenhurst Crash
A teenager suffered severe injuries and a woman was also hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash at a Long Island intersection. It happened around 4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13, in Lindenhurst. According to Suffolk County Police, the 19-year-old, a resident of Copiague, was operating a mini-bike on South 1st Street when he drove into the intersection of Reade Avenue, striking a 2020 Nissan Murano. Scooterist Killed In Route 280 Crash:

A 32-year-old man was killed when he was struck by a vehicle while riding a scooter on Route 280 in Newark on Sunday, Aug. 4, authorities aid. At 4:17 a.m., the man was operating an electric scooter on Route 280 East when he was struck by a Chrysler, Charles Marchan, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police man. The man, whose name has not been identified pending next of kin notification, sustained fatal injuries, Marchan said. The crash remains under investigation, Marchan said.

Reston Woman, 26, Killed By Car On Leesburg Pike Was 'Hard Worker With Great Dreams'
Support is on the rise for the family of a 26-year-old Reston woman struck and killed by a vehicle on Leesburg Pike earlier this month. Giomarie Davila-Ocasio walked into the westbound lanes of the roadway when she was struck by a 2016 Ford Explorer around 3:45 a.m. on Saturday, July 20 in Great Falls, Fairfax County police said. Crash Slows Traffic On Busy Hudson Valley Roadway
A collision involving a truck impacted traffic on a busy route in the Hudson Valley. The crash happened in Putnam County on Wednesday, July 17, when vehicles collided on Route 9 near the entrance of The Bird & Bottle Inn, according to the Garrison Volunteer Fire Company. Arriving first responders found the drivers out of their vehicles and stayed at the scene to control traffic and clean debris. The vehicles involved in the crash, including a truck, were later towed away.

A teenager is among the two killed in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 495 on Saturday, July 13. Authorities are investigating a fiery crash that let one person dead in Roselle. It happened on the in the 400 block of East 1st Street where two vehicles purportedly collided head-on. Motorcyclist Injured After Striking Deer In Hunterdon County:

A motorcyclist was injured after he struck a deer in Hunterdon County on the early morning of Tuesday, June 25, authorities said. At 5:05 a.m. on Frontage Road in Clinton, a motorcyclist was traveling on Frontage Road when a deer entered the roadway and was struck by the motorcycle, Charles Marchan, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. The motorcyclist was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Marchan said. The crash remains under investigation, Marchan said.
