An 18-year-old Maryland man is accused of terrorizing homeowners, robbing stores, stealing luxury cars, and even sexually assaulting a woman during a violent spree, police announced.
Detectives with the Montgomery County Department of Police said Joseph Tyler Jhingory IV of Saint Leonard was charged with a laundry list of crimes tied to incidents between December 2023 and July 2024.
The first case dates back to Dec. 1, 2023, when police said Jhingory IV stormed into a Rockville home armed with a gun.

A months-long investigation has led to the arrest of a man accused of using a tow truck to steal several vehicles from a residential community in Westchester, police said.
Marcus Powell, 39, of Yonkers, was arrested on Monday, Sept. 8, on grand larceny charges in connection with the thefts, Yorktown Police announced on Tuesday, Sept. 9.
According to Yorktown Police, the case dates back to Aug. 31, 2024, when officers responded to a report of multiple vehicles stolen from Fieldstone Manor at 1715 Strawberry Rd. Detectives allege Powell used a tow truck to remove the vehicles.

A 33-year-old woman was arrested and charged after she attempted to steal vehicle from a gas station, authorities announced Tuesday, Aug. 12.
On Sunday, Aug. 10, officers responded to the Shell Gas Station at 279 E. Main Street after Johanna Posada-Ramirez, who has no fixed residence, burglarized a vehicle and attempted to steal it, Denville police said.
Posada-Ramirez was fleeing the area when officers arrived, but she was located at the Denville Train Station, police said.
She is charged with criminal attempt to steal a motor vehicle and burglary, police said.

At 5 a.m., the suspects entered the residence on the 200 block of Ashland Road through an unsecured rear door, Summit police said.
