Maryland AG Reaches Massive Settlement with Google Over Location Tracking Practices
Maryland Attorney General Brian E. Frosh has announced that his Consumer Protection Division as well as 39 other attorneys general have reached a $391.5 million multi-state settlement with Google over its location tracking practices relating to Google Account settings. The settlement will also require Google to make it easier for consumers to manage their privacy settings when using Google products, according to Frosh. One person has died in a two-alarm fire in a small Western Massachusetts town, authorities said. Firefighters in Franklin County with the Northfield Fire Department responded to the fire at 90 East Street in Northfield around 7 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 13, the Department of Fire Services (DFS) reports. A 20-year-old Egg Harbor Township man wanted for murder has been apprehended in Vermont, authorities said. Tyreek Crawford was arrested by the US Marshals Service on outstanding murder charges from Atlantic County. It is alleged Tyreek Crawford shot and killed Joshua Hannah in the Somers Point Village Apartments, 50 Mays Landing Road, Somers Point, on Feb. 10, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office. Police Descended On Western Mass For Stolen Vermont Truck Full Of Guns, Armor
Police blocked off a portion of Gay Street in Palmer Tuesday morning, Oct. 18, after someone spotted a stolen truck out of Vermont parked three.
