One Injured In Weston Crash A driver was injured in a car crash in Weston over the weekend, according to the Weston Volunteer Fire Department. The fire department and Weston Volunteer EMS responded to a single-car crash Sunday, July 14 on Weston Road near Woodhill Road, the department said. The car's sole occupant was brought to Norwalk Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to Weston Volunteer Fire Department. Baby Owl Rescued From Middle Of Busy Roadway In Easton A baby owl was rescued by Easton Police when it was found sitting in the middle of a busy roadway. The Barred Owl was reported on the road during the evening on Thursday, May 23, on Beers Road, said the Easton Police Department. Officers Tamara French and Donald Kinahan responded and were able to pick up the baby and bring him back to the police station.
