Teen Charged With Shooting Driver Who Crashed Into Worcester House A 16-year-old was arrested and charged with shooting a driver last month causing them to crash into a home in Worcester, authorities said. The teen, whose name was not released because of his age, is charged with armed assault to murder, possession of a loaded firearm without a license, and possession of ammunition without an FID card, Worcester police said.  The crash happened just after 9 p.m. on April 30, when a car slammed into a home on Paine Street. Man Stabbed On Worcester Sidewalk, Police Searching For Suspect A man was hospitalized on Thursday, May 2, after being stabbed on a sidewalk in Worcester, police said.  A Worcester officer was flagged down just after 3:30 p.m. in the area of lower Chandler Street to a report of assault with a dangerous weapon. The victim was found sprawled out on the sidewalk and bleeding from his wound.  The officer provided medical aid until paramedics arrived and rushed the man to an area hospital. His condition was not released.  Investigators ask anyone with information on the attack to contact detectives at 508-799-8651.

'The Grief Is Indescribable': Family Of Slain Central Mass 14-Year-Old Asks For Help The family of a 14-year-old boy who was shot and killed late last week is asking for help to pay for his funeral.  Sterling Baptiste Jr. was shot and killed on Friday, April 26, in the Belmont neighborhood of Worcester. Police were called around 4:15 p.m. and found the boy bleeding from a gunshot wound inside an apartment. Despite their attempts to save his life, paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.  A 16-year-old was arrested in connection with the shooting the following day.
