Father Pleads Not Guilty In Death Of Son In Hot Car In Ridgefield RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- Kyle Seitz of Ridgefield pleaded not guilty in court Friday to a charge of criminally negligent homicide, according to The Ridgefield Press. His case was continued to Dec. 16. Seitz was arrested and charged earlier this month after the death of his son, Benjamin, 15 months old, on July 7. The boy was left in a hot car for most of the day while his father worked. Kyle Seitz apparently forgot to drop the boy off at day care.
