Norwalk Man Charged With Assaulting Officers At Police Station NORWALK, Conn. — A Norwalk man who came to police headquarters to turn himself in on a warrant suddenly began screaming and causing a disturbance that ended with him hitting a police officer and getting Tasered, according to the Hour. Stamford Teen Pleads Guilty To Armed Robbery That Led To Shooting STAMFORD, Conn. -- A 17-year-old Stamford resident pleaded guilty in connection with a drug deal turned armed robbery that ended with another teen getting shot in the chest last year, according to the Stamford Advocate. Armoni Kelley pleaded guilty to first-degree armed robbery and faces up to eight years in prison, according to the Stamford Advocate. Police: Bridgeport Man Busted With Pot In Darien Lied About His ID Twice DARIEN, Conn. -- A 21-year-old Bridgeport man was arrested in Darien after police said he had marijuana in his car and gave an officer several wrong names in an attempt to hide his real identity. An officer was traveling on Brookside Road at around 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday, July 5 when he saw a car on the side of the road with its hazard lights on. Darien Marketing Firm Reports Laptop Stolen From Desk DARIEN, Conn. -- A $700 laptop was reported stolen from the desk of an employee at a Darien marketing firm last week. Police were dispatched to 320 Post Road at around 5 p.m. on Friday, July 7 in regards to the stolen laptop. Police said that an employee of a marketing firm told police that the MacBook Pro had been taken from her desk drawer. Stamford Man Pleads Guilty To Carjacking STAMFORD, Conn. — A 20-year-old Stamford man pleaded guilty on Monday to grabbing a woman, throwing her to the ground and stealing her car in 2016, according to the Stamford Advocate.
