Stolen Car In New Canaan Leads Police To Norwalk Teens With Stolen Goods NEW CANAAN, Conn. — Two Norwalk teens were charged with stealing a Mercedes out of New Canaan after they were found holed up in Milford with the car and several items that had been stolen from unlocked cars in Norwalk, police said. On Sunday, June 11, New Canaan Police responded to a South Avenue home on a report that a $40,000 Mercedes Benz SUV had been stolen out of the driveway overnight. Stratford Man Abducted, Assaulted Ex In Trumbull, Police Say TRUMBULL, Conn. — A Stratford man was arrested Wednesday after police said he abducted his ex-girlfriend in Trumbull and proceeded to punch and strangle her in his car before eventually abandoning her in Bridgeport. A 21-year-old woman reported that on June 11 her car had broken down on Quarry Road in Trumbull, and she called her ex-boyfriend, 24-year-old David Gonzalez of Stratford, to help her. Norwalk UPS Driver Charged With Identity Theft In Wilton Cell Phone Scheme WILTON, Conn. -- A UPS driver from Norwalk was arrested for taking part in a scam where cell phones were fraudulently bought online and delivered to homes in Wilton without the homeowner's knowledge, according to police. In April the Wilton Police Department received two separate complaints from residents of Tolland and Southington who were victims of identity theft. Police said the individuals' personal identifying information was used to buy cell phones online. Stamford Man Charged With Drawing Swastika Outside 'Jerry Springer' Studio STAMFORD, Conn. — A Stamford homeless man has been charged with drawing a swastika in feces next to the entrance of the TV studio where "The Jerry Springer Show," "Maury," and "The Steve Wilkos Show" are taped, according to the Stamford Advocate. Greenwich Police Arrest Five People With Counterfeit Bills, Fake Checks GREENWICH, Conn. — Five people were arrested with counterfeit $100 bills, fake driver's licenses and fake checks after police said they were trying to deposit fraudulent checks at a Greenwich bank, according to Greenwich Time. Shooting Of 15-Year-Old Leads Cops To Drugs, Guns, Cash In Ridgefield Home RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- An investigation into the shooting of a 15-year-old who was trying to steal a car in Ridgefield turned up several pounds of marijuana as well as guns and pills in the home of a Danbury restaurant owner, according to the News Times.
