Darien Police Investigate Untimely Death, Find No Criminal Activity DARIEN, Conn. — Officers investigating an untimely death in town have determined that no criminal act occurred, Darien police said late Tuesday afternoon.  Police were called to 217 Mansfield Ave. at about 5 p.m. Monday, June 19, according to Police Chief Ray Osborne.
