The checkpoint will be conducted along the West Avenue corridor on Friday, May 27 from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. Additional roving DUI enforcement units will also be patrolling the city through the weekend. Police: 20 Mailboxes Vandalized, Stolen In Westport WESTPORT, Conn. -- Westport Police have received 20 complaints of vandalized mailboxes and two reports of stolen mailboxes since May 12. The vandalisms and thefts have occurred during the overnight hours, police said. The mailboxes cost between $100 and $450 to replace.
