Greenwich Man Charged With Threatening Another Man With Knife GREENWICH, Conn. — A Greenwich man was charged with threatening to kill another man while holding a knife, according to Greenwich Time. Police responded to North Water Street at around 3:45 p.m. Tuesday and reported that 42-year-old Eric Schnaer had threatened the other man while brandishing a knife, Greenwich Time reported.  Schnaer was arrested and charged with carrying a dangerous weapon, threatening and breach of peace, according to Greenwich Time. Thousands Without Power In Greenwich Update: As of 9 p.m., only about a dozen customers were without power in Greenwich, Eversource said. GREENWICH, Conn. -- Thousands of people were without power in the Glenville and Byram areas of Greenwich Thursday afternoon. As of 5:15 p.m., a total of 3,824 Eversource customers were without power, representing 14 percent of all customers in town.
