Police: Trumbull Shoplifter's Attempt To Throw Away Cocaine Backfires TRUMBULL, Conn. — A 45-year-old man suspected of shoplifting razors from Stop & Shop in Trumbull tried to dump some cocaine he had on him as officers approached, but the wind blew it back at him, according to a police report. Security stopped Curtis Garnet, of Trumbull, as he was leaving the store March 2 and recovered the razors, at which point Garnet took off and ran toward Main Street, police said.
