Low Clearance: Truck Gets Stuck Under Train Overpass In Fairfield FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- When you're renting a truck, it's usually a good idea to double check how tall it is, as a couple folks learned the hard way in Fairfield on Tuesday morning. A rented truck got stuck under the overpass on Center Street in front of the Southport train station just before 11 a.m. Tuesday.  Police were on the scene of the lodged truck, directing traffic around the lodged truck and working to get the air out of the tires so it would become unstuck.
